Clicking 'Print my sectionswill prepare a print-friendly version of 'My sections'.

What this means

This section includes interpretation guidance derived from Annex A of ISO 45001:2018, intended to prevent misinterpretation of the requirements in ISO 45001:2018. References include active links to that ISO 45001:2018 clause.

What to do

A is a link (opening in a new tab) to the implementation guidance located in BS 45002-0:2018 Occupational health and safety management systems — General guidelines for the application of ISO 45001.

Terms and definitions

Clicking on any highlighted term within ISO 45001:2018 will display a pop-up box containing the definition of that term and a link to the 'Terms and definitions' section, allowing you to view the full definition, including notes.

Version comparison

This links to correlation matrices from ISO 45001:2018 to OHSAS 18001:2007 and from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018.

Because ISO 45001:2018 is a new international standard, BSI has compiled correlation matrices that map the clauses of OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018 and vice versa. This allows you to see at a glance from where the new clauses are derived and where familiar clauses are now located.

Mapping icon

Clicking on the version comparison button (button labelled "18001") within ISO 45001:2018 highlights the clause(s) from where the information was derived in OHSAS 18001:2007.

The ISO 45001 and BS 45002-0 pages display the full table of contents included in each of the standards with links to each clause and subclause. When browsing within a document, the contents are displayed in the left-hand panel, making it easy to jump to any clause – just click to view.

Use the search box at the top of the page to search for terms across all of ISO 45001:2018 and BS 45002-0:2018 or just within your sections (see "My sections", above).

You can download both of the standards using the buttons at the top left of the screen. This will create a watermarked PDF, which you can save to your device.

If the standards change, updates will be displayed on the homepage so you will always have access to the most up-to-date versions. We will also alert you to any changes by email if you have opted in to this feature.
